Situated in the heart of the old town, the Juliusz Słowacki Theatre is a unique place, both on the map of Krakow and of the entire Poland. It is a place that boasts one of the most magnificent buildings in our country, with a spectacular vestibule, the famous Henryk Siemiradzki curtain, or the historic dressing room of the great actor Ludwik Solski.
It is a place which is proud of its history (the world premieres of The Wedding, Liberation, Forefathers' Eve, Kordian, Witkacy and Krystian Lupa's debuts), but which also tries to make its mark in the present, and looks towards the future with courage. It is a place open to dialogue, to meetings, to people.
That is why we encourage you to come and see our theatre not only during performances – by visiting it, renting it out, or participating in numerous different projects organized by the theatre.
Come and visit!
