Dada von Bzdülöw set up by the choreographer and director Leszek Bzdyl and the dancer and choreographer – Katarzyna Chmielewska, has been active in Gdańsk uninterruptedly since 1992. Dada Theatre, as an independent group of dancers and actors, has produced performances in cooperation with culture institutions from Poland and abroad. Dada von Bzdülöw Theatre has produced 47 premieres. In the years 2000–2007 Dada Theatre was connected with the Klub Żak theatre in Gdańsk, where 2002 it initiated a new dance theatre and contemporary dance festival: Dance Corporation. Since 2008, Dada Theatre has been associated with Wybrzeże Theatre in Gdańsk
