After the magnificent ‘Forefathers’Eve’ and ‘The Wedding’, director Maja Kleczewska concludes the national triptych with Stanisław Wyspiański's ‘Liberation’. Once again, on exactly the 123rd anniversary of the premiere, we return to the confrontation with the Polish myth, with Polishness and what is terrible and painful about it, as well as – at times – marked by the optimistic concept of hatred. Because, after all, we hate each other. And that doesn't have to be our worst evil.

Konrad will once again enter the large, empty stage to destroy the old, fossilised theatre, to observe contemporary Poland and contemporary Poles, to argue with masks, to fight with Genius, to repel the Erinyes and to... liberate. From what? From whom? What?
