Projects
The J. Słowacki Theatre in in Krakow, under the directorship of Krzysztof Głuchowski, and with its artistic programme devised by its curator, Bartosz Szydłowski, aims to serve as an open place, interacting with the audience on many levels. We believe that modern theatre is not solely a venue where performances are staged.
Modern theatre should serve as an arts centre, open as often as possible, alongside the highest quality performances offering projects that may be of interest to a wide range of audiences of all ages.
For this reason, everyone is welcome to the Theatre's auditorium (but not only!): from the youngest children, youth, to adults, people with disabilities and seniors.
Educational projects, music, dance, poetry, in-depth discussions with the most remarkable artists and thinkers of contemporary Poland, events and outdoor performances – all this and much more awaits you when you cross the threshold of our Theatre.
We invite you to have a closer look at our most important projects!
