Rules and regulations regarding subscription to the Theatre's newsletter

§1. General provisions

1. These Rules and Regulations for Newsletter service (hereinafter referred to as ‘Rules and Regulations’) define the terms and conditions for provision of this service by the Juliusz Słowacki Theatre in Krakow with its registered office at no. 1 Plac Św. Ducha, 31-023 Krakow, entered into the Register of Cultural Institutions administered by the Marshal's Office of the Małopolska Region under no. 1/99.

2. The Newsletter service (hereinafter referred to as ‘Service’) involves the Juliusz Słowacki Theatre in Krakow (hereinafter referred to as ‘Theatre’) sending commercial information about its repertoire, events, special offers and other information related to its operations to the e-mail address provided by the person using the aforementioned service (hereinafter referred to as ‘Subscriber’).

3. In order for the Service to be provided to the Subscriber, the Subscriber must agree to the sending of commercial information – the requirement stems from Article 398 of the Electronic Communications Act of 12 July 2024. This action will hereinafter be referred to as ‘Consent’.

§2. Subscription rules

1. Subscription to the newsletter is voluntary and free of charge.

2. Activation of subscription to the Service requires confirmation by ticking the appropriate checkboxes in a form on the Theatre's website:

a) Consent to the sending of commercial information being the subject of the rendered Service to the email address provided in the form.

b) Confirmation of reading the content of the so-called information obligation by which the Theatre meets the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (hereinafter referred to as “GDPR”) towards the Subscriber with regard to informing about the processing of personal data.

c) Acceptance of these Rules and Regulations, which shape the contractual conditions of the Service provided.

3. The Theatre will send a message with an activation link to the email address provided by the User. Clicking on the obtained link implies the conclusion of the Newsletter service agreement.

4. The Newsletter service agreement is concluded for an indefinite period of time.

5. The subscriber does not hold the right to share access to the service with other persons.

The subscriber is prohibited from actions interfering with the security/integrity of the IT infrastructure used to provide the service.


§3. Subscription cancellation and complaints

1. The User has the right to terminate the Newsletter service agreement. The termination shall have immediate effect.

2. The Newsletter user terminates the Newsletter service agreement by: clicking on the link ‘Unsubscribe from the newsletter’, which is included in the information sent out as part of the Newsletter service;

3. All complaints should be submitted to the following e-mail address: bilet@teatrwkrakowie.pl.

4. The complaint will be processed within 14 days from the day of its receipt.


§4. Brief (layered) information obligation

1. We inform you that the administrator of your personal data is the Juliusz Słowacki Theatre in Krakow with its registered office at no. 1 Plac Św. Ducha, 31-023 Krakow. In matters related to the processing of your personal data, one may contact the information security administrator directly at the Theatre's office or via e-mail at: iod@teatrwkrakowie.pl.

2. The data we process, regarding your e-mail address, is only used for purposes related to the execution of the Service (provision of commercial information, including marketing information as part of the Newsletter you have subscribed to, and possibly, settlement of disputes and complaints).

3. You have the right of access to your data and the right to rectification or completion and portability of your data, the right to request its deletion or restriction of its processing, as well as the right to object to its processing – in cases provided for by law.

§5. Final provisions

1. The Theatre reserves the right to make changes to these Rules and Regulations. Subscribers will be informed of any changes by email.

2. The Theatre reserves the right to revoke a Subscriber's Subscription in cases where the Theatre suspects that the Subscriber is interfering with the IT infrastructure of the Subscription system, or otherwise compromising the security, including integrity of the Service provided to the Subscriber.

3. Matters not covered by these Rules shall be governed by generally applicable law.
