An interactive dance/circus performance for children from 0 to 3 years.

With the help of games our young ones learn to discover and accept the environment around them. Birute Baneviciute and Giedre Subotinaite encourage children in this dazzling performance to explore not only the tiny world they have created on stage but also themselves. “Colorful games“ is full of surprises and chances to participate by having fun together with the dancer.

Dansema Dance Theater is a non-governmental organization working with cultural, artistic and educational projects. It was the first professional theater which by the initiative of the famous Lithuanian choreographer Birutė Banevičiūtė started to create dance performances for young audience in Lithuania. Since it was established in 2007 Dansema played across Lithuania, successfully performed in Croatia, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Palestine, Ukraine, Estonia,, Latvia, Malta, Turkey, Italy, Spain, Ireland, Sweden, Norway, China, UK, US, Japan, Check Republic, India. Since 2014 Dansema focuses on developing dance productions for babies under 3 years.

Birutė Banevičiūtė graduated from Vilnius University, different dance techniques, improvisation and composition, dance pedagogy studied in the US, UK, Austria, Italy, Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, Poland and Lithuania. Her dance performances have been shown at various international dance festivals in Europe, Asia and North America. Birutė directed and created choreography for several children musical performances with 100-150 young dancers on stage aged from 2 to 19 years. For more than 10 years she worked as assoc. prof. doctor of social sciences (dance education) in Lithuanian University of Educational Sciences in Dance and Theater Department. Since 2007 Birutė is artistic director and choreographer of Dansema Dance Theatre.
