Loved by the audience, regularly performed for over fifteen years, Molière's incredibly funny and always topical classic comedy!
The French master of the genre mocks the human stupidity, backwardness, hypocrisy and wretchedness. He presents the world in which everyone is "sick", using it to cover up their sadness or loneliness.
Director Giovanni Pampiglione presents this text in a very impressive and rare form of comedy dell'arte. It is a play that genuinely entertains, but does not abstain from moments of deep reflection.
The title role is played by one of the most popular Polish actors – Andrzej Grabowski.
