'Goddesses' is a play based on the myths of Orpheus and Eurydice, and Demeter and Cora, which are linked by the theme of the journey between the worlds of the living and the dead. The moment of passage and multiple cultural representations of Hades inspired the artists to pose a question about the condition of gods and goddesses. It's a tale about carnality, pain, illness, but also about the search for identity, recovery and learning to understand one's own body.

What is Hades for Demeter, the goddess of the harvest and protector of great births?
What is Hades for her daughter Cora, the only living one amongst the dead?
What is Hades for Eurydice, constantly summoned from the afterlife?
What is Hades for Orpheus, mythology's famous poet and Argonaut?
What is Hades for Karen Carpenter?
What and who is Hades nowadays?
