Tomasz Wysocki
Biography
Born in 1968, graduate of the PWST National Academy of Theatre Arts in Krakow.
In the years 1991-1995, he worked for the Stanisław Ignacy Witkiewicz Theatre in Zakopane, and in the period 1996-2003 – in the Ludowy Theatre in Krakow
Since 2003, company member of the Juliusz Słowacki Theatre, which cast him in:
Molière’s The Imaginary Invalid directed Giovanni Pampiglione (2002), Albert Camus’ Caligula directed by Agata Duda-Gracz (2003), Thomas Mann's Magic Mountain directed by Barbara Sass (2004), Stanisław Wyspiański’s The Wedding directed by Bodolay (2007), Bram Soker’s Dracula directed by Artur Tyszkiewicz (2008), Juliusz Słowacki’s Beatrix Cenci directed by Maciej Sobociński (2009), Maciej Wojtyszko’s O rozkoszy [On Delight] (2010), William Shakespeare's The Tragedy of Macbeth directed by Redbad Klijnstra (2010), Władysław Reymont’s The Promised Land directed by Wojciech Kościelniak (2011), Stanisław Lem’s Solaris directed by Wojciech Kościelniak (2016).
He has also worked as director, staging e.g. Sławomin Mrożek’s The Tailor, Iuvenilium Permanens based on Stanisław Ignacy Witkiewicz, and Tim Staffel’s Werther in New York.
Guest actor at the Capitol Theatre in Wrocław.
